Christmas Special – Goodies from the archive
Christmas is here again! And while some people avoid frozen desserts during winter, we all know that every season is a season for ice cream, right?
This year, despite the ever-present temptation to conjure up yet another version of Gingerbread ice cream, I decided to look into the Archives. So, from me to you – a few of my well tried and tested favourite recipes! Enjoy, and have a very Merry Christmas!
Ps. Just click on the pictures, and you will come to the recipes!
Gingerbread ice cream
Saffron raisin ice cream (Sicilian gelato/starch-based/no eggs)

Saffron and raisins – a great combination any time, and extra Christmas-like in December (at least for Swedes)
30 minutes quick gingerbread ice cream

Grab a few gingerbread cookies and you could have a nice gingerbread ice cream ready in about 30 minutes (in case you have a machine at least; with only a freezer, it will take a little longer 😉
Swedish Yule Rice ice cream
Thanks for the wonderful website and recipes. I’ll be trying them. I have already sent the garlic ice cream recipe to friends who love garlic more than chocolate.

Dear Barb,
Thanks for your kind words 🙂 Also very happy to hear that your’re spreading the word about the garlic ice cream (one of my own more peculiar favourites)!
